The flow rate of your LifeStraw Mission will decrease, and then stop pulling water through once it reaches the end of its life. You can increase the lifespan by cleaning the LifeStraw Mission after each use (see cleaning instructions for pre-filter cleaning and backwashing the purification membrane).
