Description
Up for sale is a very rare used copy of Lightnin' And The Blues. This is an original 1960 pressing on the Herald label. The album has a lot of surface marks and surface noise. The jacket is seam split along the whole bottom and half way up the spine. The jacket has a name on the back, tape residue on the top and bottom seam, and staining. This is a well loved copy of this record. The reason why I am listing it is it has been cleaned on a Okki Nokki record cleaning machine and amazingly it plays through with no hang-ups tracking at 2 grams. This will make someone a fine starter copy.
Just to be clear, the record and jacket are both Record Collectors Guild graded G, which means... "A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear (on a styrene record, the groove will be starting to turn white). A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object."
Records are play graded using the Record Collectors Guild standards. All records are cleaned on an Okki Nokki for superior play back. Records are removed from the jacket for shipping. Records are shipped in Whiplash mailers.
