Description
This is Verve Folkways Records FV 9022, Lightnin' Hopkins Lightnin' Strikes, a gold, deep groove label original mono issue of this excellent record. The record is visually in VG++ condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly but with light background hiss, from the pressing, audible on side 1 on parts of tracks 2-3. I don't know what the appropriate letter grade might be. The cover is in excellent condition but has Forecast stickers covering the original Folkways lettering. As you see, this is the Folkways original label and pressing. The labels are excellent. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17.
