Herald LP - 1012
Lightnin Hopkins - Lightnin' and the Blues
sub: "Lightnin' Hopkins sings a collection of American Folk Lore."
Very Rare
this is a first pressing 1960
Sleeve is Near Mint +. Perfect sharp corners and seams. It is unreal to see this particular title in the amazing shape it's in. Front cover still shines, back cover still bright white, though the name "Gathright Louisville" has been written in green marker in the upper left quadrant, and a light "RW" stamp in the bottom right corner. No edgewear or ringwear, the closest it comes is a small mark next to the "Gathright" mark, top center.
LP is a very positive VG+. It has visible (but not "feel-able") scuffs, more than likely from the in-out of the sleeve. I just finished listening to the record, and it is a very clean listen, beginning and end of tracks have slight surface noise, end of side one contains four barely audible "tics", not loud enough to be "pops" as the last song fades out. Nothing at all to be concerned about, it's a beautiful sounding record.
I'm listing this with standard shipping. Insurance will be required, and will be determined according to USPS terms, depending on the final value. If you'd like to upgrade shipping, that's fine with me, but the responsibility to request and pay for the additional cost is yours.
Thanks, and give this one a good home, please!!!!
