Description

What you're looking at: Amazing Blues. Super rare, and a PROMO label, white with deep grooves. Beautiful original copy. Don't miss this rarity. The vinyl plays very well; it's a VG+ for sure, but there is a small pressing dent on one of the sides. Plays right through on my Thorens though. The cover is immaculate.

NOTE: I'm putting up a handful of pretty great jazz today, so be on the lookout. What I don't get cleaned today I'll be putting up after this first small batch.

How it stacks up:

RECORD: VG+ (7.5 of 10) Beautiful gloss. A VG+ copy. You may find a pressing imperfection, but it plays very well. Some cart adjustments may need to be made, because side 1 might be pressed 1mm off or so .... or maybe it's just me being overly critical, I'm not sure.

SLEEVE: VG++ (9.0 of 10) Looks amazing. Has some age; that's about it.

ATTENTION: I am now pleased to say that all records will be vacuum cleaned prior to shipping!!

MY GRADING SCALE (I.E. NOT ANYBODY ELSE’S):

OK, my goal is to be as specific as I can without being ridiculously wordy. I give one of these (from worst to best): G, G+, VG-, VG, VG+, VG++. That is it. No more letters, thus VG++ is a very good record. NM does NOT exist in my scale.

AFTER THE GENERAL GRADING SCALE, I have a second number in parenthesis, which is meant to be more specific. I find that a number is more specific than a general sector of opinion, thus the number will be between 1 and 10. This is meant to give you a more-specific idea of what you are getting into audio quality wise, the former is more for visual.

That being said, I play with a customized Thorens TD 165 (YEAH BOY!!) through Polk Speakers and a Pioneer receiver.

RETURNS: Generally returns are a no go, unless you have a compelling reason; also, I will give a TWO week grace period for exchanges (that means the buyer pays shipping back to me if they want a return). I give plenty of chances to see what you’re buying (audio clips, emails, two part grading system and a full policy description) and, as I see it, the buyer has as much responsibility as the seller to a) know what they are buying and b) have the decency to ask prior to purchase.

COMBINED SHIPPING: I charge a flat rate of $4 for one record, which covers postage, plastic sleeves, replacement inserts, shipping boxes, etc … After that, if you purchase more, it is $1 extra for each record domestically.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I now will ship overseas of whatever the quote is. so CHECK THE QUOTE BEFORE BIDDING!!

I really hope this answers all questions and concerns; however, if it doesn’t, EMAIL ME. Other than that, bid happily.
