One of the coolest covers ever on this Mono Crown LP with some of Lightnin's best material on it. The vinyl is also exceptionally clean on this copy. It appears to have barely been played with only two very light spindle marks on one side and no scratches or scuffing! Even the quality of the pressing is very good for Crown with none of their usual "bubbles" on their pressing. These black label Crowns are way better than their later gray label LP's (avoid those if you can). The bad news is the bottom of the cover is split the whole width and there is are two 2" splits on the top edge. This will come in a new mylar resealable sleeve so you should be able to live with it. The back cover has the usual Crown LP catalog that they used on all their LP's from this era (early 1960's). This record has been barely played and looks Near Mint. Keep in mind that Crown is not known for its great pressings but this is about as good as it gets. Check my feedback for great service and strict grading of high quality vinyl. This has been cleaned on a pro VPI 17F record cleaning machine which vastly lowers the noise floor and improves the sound of any record dramatically. While eBay requires us to post Media Mail at $4 I highly encourage any US buyer to pay $6 extra and use Priority Mail as it is a much faster service and records get much better treatment during shipping. Media Mail can also be very slow at times (up to two weeks) while Priority Mail is 2-3 days anywhere in the US. No hassle return policy.
