The records appear to be in near fine condition, perhaps mostly unplayed

Limited edition, numbered 1463 on a label in the binder
Issued in 1968
We termed this a "box set",
but its actually in a heavy duty binder with the record sleeves on hinges,
in a slipcase with a Mahler medal on the spine
Some dealers like to say that this is in a leather binding,
but it looks like vinyl or leatherette
patterned to look like crushed levant black morocco leather
The fifteenth album is a bonus,
including interviews with his daughter Anna, and musicians who knew and worked with him,
[from a program produced and narrated by William Malloch for radio station KPFK-FM in Los Angeles],
and a recording of the piano rolls of Mahler playing his own piano transcription
of part of the last movement of his Fourth Symphony.

Concerning the condition of this record - I am un-familiar with the term near fine!! In the record collector field the terms that are used for all except 78s are g Good Vg Very Good VG+ slight wear and signs of use M- Mint Midus - Played but looks almost like new M Mint Unused New Pristine no marks or signs of wear. Using the above kindly descibe the condition. thanks M___

M___: Since I didn't play the record to judge its quality, then any statement I might make of condition is just a guess. So, I deliberately refuse to use Goldmine terminology, because I don't want to mislead people. It is my hope that, when seeing my descriptions, they will realize that my description is just a guess based on visual appearance.
