Description

For sale is the ultra rare Lincoln Mayorga & Distinguished Gentleman jazz LP, recorded from Studio Directly to Master Disc.  This was a Sheffield Records release-Sheffield S9 catalog number.  From what I've read, this was limited to just 1000 copies.  As a side note, I have listened to a lot of vinyl in my day and this has to be one of the best sounding recordings I've ever heard. 

Condition:

Vinyl:  Has some surface marks on it that don't affect the play.  It's on both sides so I'm not sure if it was a pressing thing or what.  Also has a bit of a slight lip warp in a couple places.  You only notice this on the turntable or if you're really closely examining the record while holding it up.  Otherwise, it looks like a completely flat record if you're doing a usual quick look.  I would grade the record at a VG with the issues I've noted.  With that said, this record actually sounds really great!  My rating is VG+ on side 1 (some light surface noise in quiet passages), VG++ on side 2.  Overall a shiny, good sounding record. 

Cover:  Evidently the LP was not stored correctly.  The sleeve has a concave/convex thing going on.  Some creases.  Some corner wear.  Seams are decent.  Spine is decent with a little wear.  VG/VG+.
