Many have attempted it but very few of them have succeeded in producing anything that is particularly interesting in my opinion. It may be that it is often done more for the pleasure and benefit of the artist themselves than it is for the listener (which is not a crime by any stretch). But, speaking for myself, I generally find them to be dull excursions. This title is one of those great exceptions to the rule in that Linda is not only beyond competent to handle the material but I sense a reverence and respect for it in her delivery as well....
