Link Wray - Rumble/ The Swag

(London 45-HL-A 8623 UK 7" 1958)

This is a UK original 7" single pressing. It has black & silver "London" labels which have a Tri-centre. The record has 1st press -1C/ -1C matrix stampers. It has its original "London" company paper sleeve. A classic late 1950's Rock 'n' Roll Instrumental single.


Vinyl: There are some mild, more moderate to moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 4 small areas of moderate to considerable surface rubs/ scuff marks. There is a light 4 cm hairline mark. Overall, Good condition. The labels are in Excellent condition & show light spindle wear only. The London company paper sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There is a very small bit of text stamped on one side of the sleeve. There are seam splits.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This only really notices in the quieter places. There are no noticeable clicks or pops. Overall, a very serviceable audio copy
