ORIGINAL 1975 OCTOPUS RECORDS STEREO PRESSING, CATALOG#. OTP 0293, ITALY.
Underrated Italian Library LP containing very nice Score tracks and excellent DJ Funky Breaks samples. Music by Pasquale Castiglione aka "Lino", one of the men behind the masterpiece "POPSOUND N.1" on Flirt Rec., arranged and directed by Paolo Casa. Probable presence of Piero Montanari on bass. An highly-collectible piece for Library lovers.
The record opens with "CLOUDS", superb Experimental Lounge track with Wah Wah effects and distortions, heavy bassline and Hip Hop drums. Follows "3/4 WESTERN", Some strange Country Pop/Western swings like other tracks on this LP "CHASE" is the masterpiece from this record also featured in compilations with Killer Funk and heavy Breaks and bass rhythms, the best shot along with its similar "GAMES", dope Fender Rhodes Funk. Both these 2 tracks like AMERICA GIOVANE LPs by R.Ducros and D.Casa contains infectious percussions and fabulous flute solos, Funky bass and drums, electric piano. "RIDING" Spaghetti-Western influenced tunes, while "SEA-SIDE" is a lovely Bossa Nova. Strict Experimental-Giallo music on "NIGHTMARE and strange Experimental Pop/Avant on "MODERN EXPRESSIONS" and LONELINESS". A complete LP!
