Description

Lionel Barrymore as Ebenezer Scrooge in 'A Christmas Carol', by Charles Dickens
MGM album # 16A, consisting of four, 10 inch 78 rpm shellac records
Personally autographed by LIONEL BARRYMORE in ink on the first record sleeve, as follows:
To Pete from Lionel Barrymore with lots of good times to come. Lionel Barrymore 1945
Again, at the bottom, Mr. Barrymore wrote:
Good work at the Shrine Home For Children, LB
The record album itself is in quite good condition. Mr. Barrymore was known for his portrayal of Scrooge on the radio every year, and this recording is a very enjoyable version. Records are in very good condition...free of graying, needle drops, cracks etc.
NOTE:  Lionel Barrymore's signature has not been authenticated, but it is in keeping with others that I have found online
