Description
Up for auction is a highly collectible, original 1964 7" white-label promo single of "Oh, Baby!!" b/w "Uncle Kev" by Harvey & Doc with The Dwellers on Annette Records (Annette 1002).
This legendary garage rock/R&B novelty screamer is an absolute must-have for Phil Spector and Doc Pomus completists. "Harvey" and "Doc" were secret pseudonyms used by the iconic production and songwriting duo for this obscure, frenetic release.
This specific copy features incredible historical provenance: a vintage promotional rubber stamp reading "Thanks, Howard Bedno" directly on the label. Bedno was a prominent independent record promoter in Chicago during the 1950s and 1960s, making this an authentic artifact of mid-century radio promotion history.
Listing Details:
- Label: Annette Records (White Label Promotional Pressing)
- Catalog Number: Annette 1002
- Text Markings: "DJ COPY" and "NOT FOR SALE" cleanly printed on the label.
Condition Notes:
Record is in beautiful shape with only some superficial marking that do not affect play. Both sides play through without skip and minimal surface noise.
Don't miss out on this exceptionally rare piece of 1960s rock history. Original Annette promos with verified regional promoter stamps rarely surface on the market! Shipped securely inside a dedicated cardboard record mailer and with the premium sleeves shown in picture. Open to offers and thanks for looking!
