Description

A superb original collection of bird songs/calls produced by the European Phono Cub-Amsterdam, I think in about the late 1960`s early 1970's, entitled "Listen the Birds, Hoor de vogels". Twelve 7" records each in their original illustrated sleeve with a description of the bird song.

 Each one is in very good / excellent condition, . Numbers 1 to 6 are recorded and arranged by Hans A Traber, numbers 7 to 12 are recorded by John Kirby. Numbers 7 to 9 are arranged by Philip Brown and Ko Zweeres, 10 to 12 are arranged by Peter Conder and Frank Hamilton. . Although 7" records they are EP`s (extended play) and play at RPM speed 33 1/3. The songs and calls cover all species of birds.

Also included is a fabulous copy of "Wildfowl Calling" by Peter Scott.. This dates from 1962 and is again a 7" EP but plays at 45 RPM. The disc is in lovely pristine condition and the picture sleeve is very very good. 

Great  collection for the ornithologist  or collector of rare vinyl records, especially in such fine condition.
