We believe that God gives each of us a talent in life and that talent should be used to help spread the “Good News” of His saving grace. After twenty years of dedicated service with various groups across the state, we felt we could form a new group of singers and musicians and truly call them “Veterans”. Gospel music is a very important part of each of our lives, because we know and believe what we are singing about. Listen as Bro. Dave Allgood with his deep bass voice sings, “I’ve Made A Covenant With My Lord”, and Bro. Rick Cooper (Lead) singing, “He’ll Roll You Over The Tide”. Bro. Larry Mudd (Baritone) sings his rendition of the old hymn of the Church, “In A Land Where We’ll Never Grow Old”. Then Bro. Don Parker, truly a Veteran, demonstrates his unique tenor voice on the beautiful song, “Only Jesus”. We feel the materials selected for this album holds a special blessing for each one who listens. We would like to take this opportunity and thank the musicians who travel with the Veterans. Bro. Keith Brown does a tremendous job at the piano with Bro. Terry Mudd following up on the bass guitar. Bro. Roger Leigh sets the tempo on the drums and Bro. Ranz Vincent fills the background with the rhythm guitar. A special thanks to our many friends and pastors across the state who have helped the Veterans by booking them in their Churches and hometowns. To these we dedicated this album.
