Description

This is a hard to find record and even harder to find vintage autographs on both sides.  NW's Bill Engelhart (aka Little Bill and The Blue Notes "I Love An Angel" on Dolton 1959) recorded this one with The Adventurers and The Shalimars. It is signed on one side "Stay (Sweet) Ha Little Bill" and on the other "To a great guy & a true pal Sincerely Little Bill". Also including a signed note. Back in the late 80's we used to go watch Clayton Watson & The Trends (best known with The Silhouettes "Everybody Boppin' " Lavender). Little Bill came in to my shop and wrote a note to give to Clayton. The note says "Clayton Sing a 'Fats' song for me Little Bill". Fat's was one of Claytons favorites and Little Bill knew that from the gigs they had played together. A good place for info is Pacific Northwest Bands.

Little Bill with The Adventurers & The Shalimars "Louie, Louie" /"Boy Next Door" Topaz 1305 1961. Record has a slight edge warp on the dead wax that doesn't affect play, otherwise appears virtually unplayed  and sounds great. Labels have ink and light ring wear.
