Description

Little Esther Phillips, Memory Lane, original King monaural Lp from 1959. This is one of the rarest of all the King LP's!  It lists for $4000 in near mint condition in the Goldmine price guide.  Unfortunately, this copy is in Poor condition and is listed for the die-hard collector who needs a filler copy at an affordable price. 
Record = Poor:  There are multiple scratches and scuff marks that do affect the sound and play quality. Several of the songs have multiple skips and/or catches when played on my turntable.  Some of the songs played through OK, but with audible background noise.  The record retains about half of its original gloss.  The labels are in good shape with several spindle marks on side 1 (see photos).
 Cover = Poor:  There is major water damage to the bottom of the front and back covers, which has resulted in some peeling on the front cover. The top and bottom seams are each split 4", but the spine is intact with minor wear (see photos).   
I am listing this record due to its utter rarity.  I do not normally list records in this condition.  This record will be shipped in a plastic insert to protect the cover.
