Description

Little Junior's Blue Flames Sun Records 1953 RARE 7” 45

You are bidding on a rare 45 / 7” copy of Little Junior's Blue Flames on Sun Records from 1953.

The record plays, but it does have surface sound under the music. It is in fairly good condition for a Sun record of this age. The record has several light hair line marks and some surface wear. There are no deep scratches or marks. The numbers U-88 and U-89 appear on the labels and are etched in the inner rim of the vinyl.

On one side is the song "Mystery Train”, with “Love My Baby" on the other. Great blues / rock record by Junior Parker with Pat Hare on guitar. The song Mystery Train was covered by Elvis Presley, also on SUN.

This is an original very rare Sun 45. The three round press marks are visible on the labels.

The labels are in very good condition, but there is a pen mark on the “Mystery Train” side and a name that looks like “Louella”. On the “Love My Baby” side, there is a small part of the edge that looks like part of the label is missing from the photo, but it actually appears to be just wear in the yellow color. The labels read SUN / Memphis Music / Memphis, Tennessee. (Parker) and the number 192 is under the song titles.

Great addition to any vinyl record or blues collection!
