Don't say we didn't warn you. Hot on the heels of our reissue of “So Much”, the first single released by these dynamite pioneers of the US 60’s garage scene, Penniman is throwing caution to the winds and releases for the very first time a full LP of their material. Yes siree!!. A whopping LP given over to these Georgia wild men who stooped to conquer the wildest, wackiest and coolest parties of the time and were lionized for their incandescent live act.
"Patriarchs of Garage Rock" contains all their official singles, including the classics of the time such as "60 Second Swinger" or "In The Air", as well as impossible to find 45's self-released by the group independently plus heaps of rarities – including two previously unreleased tracks- recorded by this Atlanta band during their 64-67 heyday.

This is the first LP brought out by Penniman, a feast of garage, punk, R&B and soul from top to bottom and a weighty chunk of 180 gramme vinyl. Luscious packaging with a full color sleeve both front and back and never seen pics, all with a first class sound. Includes liner notes by band leader Aleck Janoulis and comments by Gerg Prevost, leader of the Chesterfield Kings and fan numero uno of the Night Shadows. Now wasn't that worth waiting for?

TERMS / SHIPPING INFO

Our standard packaging procedure for sealed LPs is to slit the shrink wrap and remove the record and inner from the sleeve to prevent seam splits to the cover during transit. If the record comes with a printed inner sleeve the record will be sent in a plain white inner to prevent damage to the inner sleeve as well,

If you do not want this carried out and wish to receive your LP completely sealed then you must message us with your request immediately after purchase or leave a note in the paypal comments box.

If you request that your LP remains sealed however, it is at your own risk and we will not provide reimbursement or replacements for record sleeves damaged in this way.

We will of course package your item with tender loving care either way.

All items are new and official releases in most cases sourced directly from the labels that release them.

Returns are only accepted on faulty items.

We are happy to combine postage when it is cost effective, however, we may send your order in multiple packages if it helps keep postage costs down and insures that all items are fully covered by Royal Mail for loss or damage.

If you choose standard postage for orders over £20 Strange Vice can only claim compensation for loss or damage to this order up to the first £20. Therefore this is the maximum you will get back if your order is lost or damaged in the post.
