Description
Description:
Up for auction is a 1957 vintage reissue of 'Here's Little Richard' on Specialty Records. This album, a powerhouse of rock and roll, introduced the world to Little Richard's unique blend of rhythm and blues, gospel, and boogie-woogie. It includes two of his biggest hits, 'Tutti Frutti' and 'Long Tall Sally.'
Condition:
The laminated cover is in VG (Very Good) condition. Despite some peeling and corner dings, it retains its framable beauty. The seams and spine are intact, with no writing on the cover.
• The vinyl is in VG- (Very Good Minus) condition. It displays a steady background hiss during playback, a characteristic not uncommon in these early pressings. Importantly, this does not overpower the music. On my turntable, there are no noticeable skips.
This iconic album, which helped lay the groundwork for the rock and roll genre, was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2013.
