I HAVE JUST ACQUIRED A SMALL COLLECTION OF A DOZEN OR SO ROCK N ROLL LP's INCL JOHNNY BURNETTE , JERRY LEE LEWIS , FATS DOMINO , LITTLE RICHARD , THE CHAMPS , THE CHANTAYS AND EDDIE COCHRAN , I WILL BE LISTING ALL OVER THE NEXT WEEK OR SO AND I MUST SAY THIS REALLY IS A VERY NICE COLLECTION .

ALL RECORDS ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED ON MY TRUSTY AIWA TURNTABLE AND GOOD QUALITY JVC AMP . THIS DOES ONLY HAVE A STD BASS AND TREBLE CONTROL WHICH I HAVE SET ON A HIGH " TINNY " SETTING . I LIKE TO SET IT LIKE THIS AS IT PICKS UP EVEN THE VERY SLIGHTEST BIT OF NOISE SO I KNOW I CAN DESCRIBE EVERY LP CORRECTLY ETC . I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT PLAYED ON BETTER OR TOP QUALITY SYSTEMS WITH GREATER AND MORE TECHNICAL SOUND CONTROL ETC , THESE RECORDS WILL SOUND A LOT BETTER THAN I HAVE DESCRIBED . I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I OFTEN GIVE RECORDS ANOTHER QUICK PLAY ON THE FIRST COUPLE OF TRACKS ON MY PERSONAL TOP QUALITY PIONEER SYSTEM AND I DO FIND THAT MOST OF ANY NOISES LIKE CRACKLE ETC ARE MUCH MUCH QUIETER , SOME EVEN HARDLY SOUND AT ALL . I TEST EVERY RECORD AND FIND THAT MY AIWA WILL COVER MANY OTHER SIMILAR SET UPS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE , I DID WANT TO JUST POINT THIS OUT , THANK YOU .
Please note that i do tend to use " Very Good Condition " for most of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . The only exception to this is if the record does have scratches and lots of marks etc but is very rare and collectable and will be described in great detail . I never use " Mint " or " Near Mint " unless the record is unopened from it's original shrink wrap and is clearly unplayed . Even with these i am wary because if the record has been stored for years in maybe a damp garage or loft etc and has not been opened , then we can only presume it should be mint because we obviously can't actually see the record . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is why i use Very Good most of the times . This is also why i do go into great detail with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use " Excellent Condition " sometimes , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much at all , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest and small surface hairline marks only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent . Lots of my records as you can see by my feedback are better than described , more better than very good and closer to near ( if not ) excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , this is why i do use mainly " Very Good " but with very detailed descriptions also of which i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , but as i say please do check my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Little Richard Volume 2 LP Pro Cleaned See Details . On UK London Plum / Silver Print Labels HA-U 2126 . This one is the slightly scarcer copy in that it has no recording first published date on the labels , just the p in the circle then 1958 , it also has the M/T tax code above the catalogue number on the labels ( this isn't as uncommon as the other things , but still worth a mention i think ) it has the common misprinted label / cover errors in that T4 S1 appears as I'll Never Let You Go on the label but appears as Boo Hoo Hoo Hoo on the rear cover , also T5 S1 appears as Heeby- Jeebies on the label but appears as Heebie-Jeebies on the rear cover , the rear cover artist name in the centre of the right hand side edge appears as Little Richard And His Band , but there is no mention of " And His Band " above the track titles on the labels . The labels on this one also have the smaller print on the track titles and a few other differences on the actual print layout of the labels . Though the main thing with this one is that it has no Printed By Robert Stace at the bottom of the rear cover .
COVER: Laminated ( front and folded over right hand side edge on the rear only ) cover in very very strong very good condition ( though many may say better ) and overall still nice and clean , but please read the full description below for full details .
FRONT: Very nice and clean overall and generally still retains a nice glossy sheen with just a little very light age related dulling in places only really more visible when held at certain angles to the light . There are some usual but small only surface laminate crease crack lines in places round the outer edges , mainly on the left hand side edge as is quite common and just two or three other very small and very light laminate crease lines ( not cracked ) in places mainly towards the opening edge . There are some mostly very light general surface marks in places , mainly just some usual but very light and fine hairlines , i say mostly as there is the imprint only of the number 60 in three places on and around the centre and one of the same near the top left corner , i must stress that this is an imprint only , obviously someone has wrote on a piece of paper etc which was on top of the cover at some point and the imprint has transferred through it , these are quite faint and again are really more obvious when held at certain angles to the light , though they are obviously visible , i have shown this in the photos under a bright light so you can clearly see what i mean . There are the usual ( but for this cover i think quite light ) ringwear marks with just a quite light impression of the outer edge of the record ( no heavy denting etc ) , there is some often seen rubbing present on this impression , but again this isn't excessive in my opinion , there is just the slightest hint of a little rubbing in places from the label section of the record but this is very light only . Overall still a very nice front cover and in very good shape .
TOP / BOTTOM / LEFT HAND SIDE MAIN EDGES: ( Not Including Corners And Right Next To Corners Please See Corner Description ) . TOP EDGE: No obvious signs of rub wear at all on the laminated part just two or three extremely light and tiny laminate cracks . BOTTOM EDGE: The same . LEFT HAND SIDE EDGE: Normally obviously the spine edge , but these flimsy thin card covers of the time had all of the text printed on the rear and there was no actual spine . This edge is generally the same as top and bottom main edge descriptions but with a few more but still very light and very small laminate cracks in places .
MAIN SPINE EDGE: N/A .
OPENING EDGES: Notoriously wear prone edges on these flimsy covers but generally these really are still in good shape , there is the usual wear with white showing on the very outer edges on the front , mainly where the laminate always ends short , there is some general age / use related fraying and rubbing , again on the outer edges and some bits of small denting present , there are a very very few extremely tiny knicks in place , mainly on the rear , but i must stress that these are not tears just tiny knicks on the very outer edges only , there is no excessive gapping present , just the usual slight bit , i think pretty much all can be seen in the photos , there is just a small bit of very slightly heavier rubbing / fraying just above and just below the right hand side corners , this is often seen and is just on the fold back part where the cover was glued when put together at the top and bottom corners and caused by the removing and replacing the record back into the cover etc over time .  
CORNERS: Some usual but small only bits of fray / dent wear on the corners , virtually all being confined to the tip ends . There is a small crease very close to the bottom right hand corner tip on the front   
REAR: Still in really great shape overall . There are some overall light bits of general age related grubby surface / handling marks and a very little light fading present , a little more prominent down and just near to the left hand side opening edge , but none of this is excessive at all and just to be expected on a non laminated rear cover of this considerable age , i will say that it does still overall retain a general whiteness . A very few usual but very light and small laminate surface crease lines in places on the folded over part of the laminate down the right hand side edge and a few other slightly larger but still very light and small crease lines in places round the other edges . There are just two or three extremely light very soft dents in places . There are the usual but very light ringwear marks with just a mainly very very light impression of the outer edge of the record , i say mainly as there is a light bit of denting on the impression which is slightly more prominent towards the left hand side corners , there is a very slight bit of rubbing also present on these parts , but this is very light only , there are no obvious signs of any wear from the label section of the record . As i say , this cover really is still in very nice shape overall , a notoriously wear prone thin card cover , but i think this one really has faired very well and has on the whole been well looked after .
INNER SLEEVE: Printed on one side ( lilac coloured print ) poly lined inner sleeve in near excellent overall condition . A very very few very light and very small general surface / handling marks in places and there are some of the very slightest bits of age related foxing , mainly round the edges . The usual but generally very light ringwear marks and mainly just a very few light creases / dents in places , i say mainly as there is one larger but still quite light crease on the one side  and there are the usual but slightly more prominent creases / dents caused by the outer edge of the record on and near the corners . Some very light only normal useage wear on the top opening edges and bit of age / use related rubbing present on the side edges and corners . I can't confirm if this is the original inner sleeve , but it is consistent with the time period and label make . 
LABELS: London plum / silver print paper labels generally in near excellent condition . Very nice and clean overall with just some usual spindle marks on both labels . Both labels are writing free .
RECORD: The overall visual grade under normal average household light conditions is a very strong between very good and near excellent ( though certainly better than very good ) condition on the playing surface , i actually do think some people may even say airing a little closer to the near excellent side overall with just some usual but mostly very light and very fine hairline surface marks on both sides with just a few that are slightly more visible but still fine hairlines , most of the very finer hairlines i will say are also only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light , there are no nasty deep gouges / nasty deep scratches etc whatsoever . I will say that there is what appears to be a line which runs round the blank run off just before the actual very end of the run off on both sides , they do appear to be done as part of the manufacturing process and to me appear to be machine done but obviously i can't confirm this in saying this , they can be felt , it passes through the line on S1 with just a brief though audible noise as it passes through it , on S2 the playing arm stopped at the line but the auto eject still lifted and returned , it did give off quite a loud noise as it hit the line though . I must admit i am at a loss to know what this line is . As i don't know what they are and because of the noise , to be sure , all i did in the end on my second testing was to just take the arm off when the record had finished and before it reached the line and again to be sure i would also recommend this action if you are unsure , actually i doubt most people would have even mentioned them , but as you know , i do like to be thorough with all my descriptions , i have shown this in the last photo so you can see exactly what i mean . Obviously this had no affect on the music playback at all as it is just on the run offs .
AUDIO A SIDE: It plays beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really very little ( hardly any ) real obvious noise worthy of mention , there was no nasty crackle and bar one very light tick towards the end of T1 , and one light tick just after the start of T3 . All i heard worthy of a mention was just the slightest , briefest bit of background only noise on the intro and start of T2 , three or four odd very light isolated pops in places on T3 and a couple of light pops on the silent track changeover line from T4 to T5 , anything else was ultra occasional and ultra minimal indeed and really barely heard at all and with just a very very few ultra light isolated pops in places . Actually a very good deal of this side on the music does play close to virtually noise free . There are obviously some usual and often louder noises heard on the silent run ins/offs and silent track changeover lines , though i must say that even most ( bar the odd light tick and pop as mentioned ) of the silent changeover lines were very very quiet indeed overall . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still awesome . There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a nice shine . 
AUDIO B SIDE: It plays beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with again really very little obvious noise worthy of mention , there was just the very slightest faintest and briefest bit of background only noise in a very very very few places on T1 ( this really is being very picky though ) and the slightest bit of background noise on the intro and start of T3 , but this really was very very light indeed , there were a very few very very light pops in places on T5 and one isolated light tick at the end of the same track . There were just a very very very few other odd isolated ultra light pops in places . There was some usual and obviously often louder noises on the silent track changeover lines and the silent run ins /offs but i will say that a lot of these really were very quiet overall . This side again on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall on the music and the audio tones are still awesome . There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a nice shine .

Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no excessive play wear at all and will still retain a good shine , it displays no major deterioration in sound quality at all , despite some light only surface marks , with most being just hairlines , but there are no nasty deep scratches etc . Some very light noise and occasional usual light pop may sometimes be present on some quieter parts and would be acceptable . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Please note that whilst I haven’t increased my postage charges for quite a while now , this now other recent price increase , has seen me unfortunately have to put a slight increase on my postage charges . This is also topped with the rise in cost for quality card mailers , jiffy bags , stiffeners , other packaging materials etc , Ebays 10% extra fee for seller postage costs plus their other fees and Paypal now charging 20p per item sold on Ebay plus their other fees .
