Description

For sale is Little Richard's lp 2nd album on specialty. This is a 1st mono pressing from 1958. Classic 50s rock n roll album that includes good golly miss Molly, keep a knockin, and Lucille.


The record is in Good condition at best. The record does look rough. Full of scratches. Mostly superficial, but there is a small deep feelable scratch on side 1. Surprisingly the deep scratch doesn't affect playback all that much. Just creates some light pops when the needle goes through. For how rough it looks, it sounds really good. Retains good sound fidelity. It is a deep groove pressing. There is some crackling, most noticeable at the beginning of each side. No skips or loops. Definitely an OK filler copy.


The cover sleeve is in fair condition. Good at best. The cover is completely split at all the seams, but has been repaired with clear tape on all seams. There is some light ringwear and shelfware. Some staining on the back. Overall not bad looking, just the splitting and tape really bring the condition down. Will function it's purpose as is.


Classic Little Richard! Must have along with his first album. Essential rock n roll!
