Description
Little Walter - Hate To See You Go
(Chess Records 1535 USA Mono LP 1969)
This is an early 1970's USA Mono LP pressing. It has a heavyweight matte sleeve & comes with a period UK generic polythene lined company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has orange & blue "Chess" labels. A great Chicago Blues/ Electric Blues LP. The recordings are from the 1954-1960 period. I have some other rare & collectable 1960's and 1970's Original Rock, Blues & Folk LP's for sale too. So please see my other listings.
Sleeve: There is a 1 cm seam split on the bottom edge at the sleeve opening. There is some mild, very mild or more moderate rubbing wear on the top & bottom edges on some areas. There is a 2 cm area of considerable rubbing wear at the top of the spine. This is rubbed back to the bare card underneath. There is mild or moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is very mild fading to the spine. There is some light, very mild or very minor rubbing wear on the spine on a few areas. The spine text is completely legible. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. This is mainly on the front. Overall, Very Good condition
Vinyl: There is a thumb-tip sized area of more moderate sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, on Side 1. There is a very tiny 1.3 cm hairline surface mark on Side 1 too. Otherwise, there are some light, mild, very mild or very minor sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These can hardly be seen under a strong light. Overall, Very Good condition. The labels are in Excellent condition & show very mild spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in Very Good condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There is more moderate fading. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. There a few intermittent mild or very mild clicks on one track on Side 1. These do not last long. Overall, a very reasonable audio copy.
