ITEM DESCRIPTION
Here is one of the rarest records. Canfield lists it at $250.00 and describes it as a "superlative rarity, withdrawn from stores shortly after issue due to lawsuit by Casal's wife" Recorded live in 1960 at the Casals Festival, Puerto Rico, it's a command performance before a select White House group which received superlative reviews.
Condition of Cover: NM
Condition of record: Has 2 curved hairline marks barely visible, about 1/2" long and 1/4 inch deep. As the stylus moves over them, there is about 1/8" of clicks, about 50 of them, half of which is light and half fairly audible. The rest of the lp is absolute NM. Considering its age (44 years) and its rarity, it's in great shape. Still, I have reduced the price by more than 40%. You won't see this record in a long while.
