“Live” by The Radiant Set (Five Star Records, FSRS-1409)

Yet another super rarity... Brilliant soft rock group from Northern California, doing an absolutely spot on cover of “Kites Are Fun” by the Free Design live!!! They even look like the Free Design. Not sure when this was recorded, but the sleeve says the band got together in 1970. They do some requisite covers of the day, but originals “Don’t Snow Me In” and “I’m All Alone” are pretty great as well. If you’re a soft rock or soft psych completist, you need this.

Should appeal to fans of The Mutual Understanding, Honey Limited, Soft Soul Transition, The Groop, Eternity’s Children, Roger Nichols, Hagood Hardy & The Montage, BJ Ward, The Free Design (of course) and other great soft rock & pop psych LPs.

Condition: Cover = EX (cover is sharp & clean, all seams intact, no writing, only the slightest hint of wear)/ Record = EX (no spindle marks, clean & shiny, a few sleeve marks)

PACKAGING/SHIPPING/POSTAGE: As I’m VERY careful about keeping LPs in their described condition, I ship all LPs in custom LP mailers and use filler pads. I pack the disc with the inner-sleeve placed behind cover (both in a plastic slipcover) to prevent seam splitting in transit.

Postage for 1-2 LPs within USA: Media Mail = $4.00 or Priority Postage = $7.50, each additional LP add $2.00 (per LP).

Insurance is optional, but any uninsured package is the Buyer’s responsibility (At Your Own Risk) and I cannot refund lost or damaged packages. Insurance rates are as Follows: 0-$50.00 = $1.30; $50.01 - $100.00 = $2.20; $100.01 - $200.00 = $3.20; $200.01 and Higher = $4.20.

Airmail for Europe/UK = $12.00 for 1 LP, each additional LP add $3.00 (per LP). Surface mail Europe/UK = $6.50

Airmail for Japan/Australia/Asia = $15.00 for 1 LP, each additional LP add $5.00 (per LP). Surface mail 1 LP =$8.00.
