Description

Here is a great release on the Savoy label (MG-16000). Collection of blues songs performed by leading artists of the day: Brownie McGhee, Memphis Minnie, John Lee Hooker, St. Louis Jimmy, Pee Wee Hughes, Curley Weaver, Sunnyland Slim, Dennis McMillan, Frank Edwards, Peg n' Whistle Red, David Wylie and Papa Lightfoot. Early press- label states Microgroove. Classic Savoy cover art by "Harvey."

Condition - The jacket looks nice from the front, but it shows light wear and has been corner-cut. The jacket grades at VG+. The record is shiny with few signs of use. The record grades at Near Mint.

Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
