British 1974 re-release of the original film soundtrack to "Cabaret” (1972, dir. Bob Fosse), featuring songs by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb with musical direction and adaption by Ralph Burns.

The film starred Liza Minnelli, Michael York, Helmut Griem and Joel Grey.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): Vinyl: VG-EX. Superbly clean on visual inspection. No obvious sign of any scuffs or marks. Just some very light hairlines on both sides when viewed closely at an angle but very superficial and no deep scratches. Played just pre-listing and sounds great. Light static at run-ins and mild surface noise through track 1, side 1 but most tracks clear and unaffected. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): VG. Colours are bright, unfaded and clean on superb laminated front. Creasing in from all sides and curved creases near aperture. Aperture peeling but not badly worn. Edges scuffed and corners dented and worn but spine clean and readable. Small delamination bubbles near spine. Back of sleeve disc ring outline visible and scuffing near edges with creasing as well. No other defects.
Inner Sleeve: EX. Original. Off-white paper with curved corners. Clean and intact.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
