Description
Maroon label with silver text, mono. 10 tracks includes Part 1 nd Part 2 of "After Hours". This is the original L.P. from Aladdin 78's. The LP was issued in 1958. The material is from 1954-1957. All tracks include the leader, Glenn, piano. 2 tracks include Billy Hadnott, bass; Russell Lee, drums. 4 tracks include Hadnott, bass; Bob Harvey, drums . 2 tracks same as last mentioned with Jack McVea, tenor sax added. 2 tracks with Jesse Erwin, guitar; Hadnott, bass; Harvey, drums; Jack Costanzo, bongo. Very rare issue.
Cover: VG(-) to VG 9" and 1" split on the bottom edge. Scotch tape repair along the entire top edge. 2" split on the spine. Very light aging on the back cover. There is only light indication of wear from handling on the front cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are 2 or 3 short, extremely light surface rub marks. These are small and barely visible. Played only a very few times and handled with care. The markings mentioned do not effect the sound. There is a small amount of very light groove noise on Track 1, Side 2. Otherwise, no surface noise. Overall quality is close to Mint. This is a fine copy of collectable quality. Moderately heavy vinyl pressing. Audibly checked.
