Description
Genuine original UK copy of the legendary Locomotive LP We Are Everything You See as released on Parlophone PCS7093 in 1970.
PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION PROPERLY as the item is sold with NO RETURNS! It is not magically going to be cured of the issues I describe below by wishful thinking, yes you do get a genuine original copy that plays as described but it also has the playing faults described and is best overall a 'Fair' copy.
This copy has been in my possession for a good few years, it was acquired in good faith but although in the main it plays well there are a few jumps on it as noted below. Overall the disc is not heavily worn but *something* has in the past caused some groove damage in certain places so although in the main in plays fine, there are jumps/issues as noted below.
On Side 1, there are jumps during opening track 'Overture' (which jumps 2 or three times); a jump on 'Lay Me Down Gently, and a jump on the runout groove which prevents the turntable auto-return from activiating. On Side 2 there is some clicking during 'A Day in Shining Armour' and a jump at the end of the track and some clicks on Rain.
When it's not doing this it plays well - so, for example, you get the full sonic pleasure of 'Mr Armageddon' and the other fine tracks on this album. Prior to listing I have had the record professionally cleaned to ensure that it is as good as it can be given these issues.
The original sleeve is in VG condition with some creasing and feathering of edges, but no graffiti, flipbacks are intact; the original sepia inner is included, this has a seam split so the record is supplied in an anti-static inner sleeve.
It's obviously very difficult to value such a rare record accurately given the issue so I am listing by auction with a low start and no reserve for people to bid what it is worth to them.
