Description
Released by London in 1961, cat # 45-HLD-9496; this is “Free Me” / “The Other Half Of Man” by Robert Knight.
Both labels are in exceptional condition for their age. Just one or two small spindle marks! There is a slight blemish over the catalogue number on the A-side label that could be where an ancient label was placed. The playing surfaces are unmarked and are in near mint condition. The record comes in a London sleeve.
This is the final exclusive list of soul singles. From now on, soul will be mixed with other genres and our lists will focus on some of the legendary releases of the 60’s and 70’s. You’ve already seen some of them – still more to come so keep watching!
All of these singles come from the same special source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are still just £1 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance will be required if the value of the order exceeds £34. If you refuse insurance and the record is damage or goes missing in the post, I’m afraid we cannot be held responsible and will not entertain any claims. UK record delivery is an extra 70p and special delivery is £4.75. Overseas insurance will be either £3.50 or £5.50 dependent upon the value.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
