The Lord of The Rings Animated Movie Soundtrack United Artists / Fantasy Films, Gatefold double album Picture Discs 1978. I listed this as new because I personally removed this set's original plastic covering, which was not shrink wrap but an ill-fitting crinkly plastic film (quite annoying and basically useless anyway), and never removed the records from their clear inner sleeves. I wished to see the pictures on the other sides of the records, and the inside of the gatefold. Those clear sleeves don't lie flat - I'm sorry, but I couldn't get clear pictures of the records even if I wasn't me, heh. The gatefold sleeve has just a little general wear, VG+ Record albums are visually graded. I have a fair amount of experience grading vinyl, but am not an expert, and knowing that I'm not, the grades tend to be conservative - I'd much rather have a high percentage of buyers pleasantly surprised than even one disappointed. Note to the shoppers out there - if you see one of these in actual shrink wrap instead of the ill-fitting clear film... it may indeed be a new set (nobody actually plays these, do they?), but the wrap (though better) is not original. (EX) Excellent - Very little or no visible wear -my highest rating for unsealed albums.
(VG+) Very Good Plus - Very gently used, faint surface scratches that will not distract from play.
(VG) Very Good - An average used playable copy.
(G) Good - Visibly worn, may have localized minor annoying issues.
(FR) Fair - Some tracks may not play through without background noise or skipping.
(P) Poor - This is a great sleeve that comes with its original vinyl.
