Description
Loretta's third record on the Zero label, "The Darkest Day / Gonna Pack My Troubles".. Her last on Zero... This is a factory stamped "Audition Record" without any "promotional copy"(as 99.99% of these have) on labels... This is the only one I've ever seen... Thought for awhile some radio station stamped it but because of the "curvature" of the record where label is attached, it had to be stamped at the printers when it was a flat label on the sheet... I added photo's to show this... I'm going to grade the vinyl condition as V.G.+ because although it's been played, most likely by the engineers trying to decide if this is the one take they wanted to release, and label smudge, there's no scratches or mishandling...This is recorded in the U.S.A. (Cal..) but was pressed on that "soft Canadian" wax, and when play-tested it sounds just like new !!! No pop's, skips, surface noise, nothing.... Again, although it's been handled and played, it's not played out or damaged , nor should you think it's N.M....But I do think, super rare... Any questions, just ask...
