Description

Los Belkings - Rare Peru 7" Single Garage Surf. This version has lots of dirty fuzz guitar a bit like the Shadows on Acid.

Condition “Used”

Sleeve:  Supplied in its Rate Virrey Company Sleeve which is in Excellent condition.

Disc: Both labels have some friction marks but still possibly one of the cleanest labels I have seen with no writing. The disc looks Excellent and side A plays wonderfully clean making it exceptionally rare. Side B however has a couple of feel-able scratches at the start of side B which cause a few soft clicks and light crackle but the sound is still crisp and beautiful. 

Latin American recordings in this era were predominantly mono and were very often played on mediocre replay equipment with heavy tracking arms and worn styli, so the majority do suffer from some degree of lateral groove wear. Mono records play so much better using a Mono cartridge so non recorded noise is not picked up and amplified.  

All my Records are wet vacuum cleaned and play-graded from start to finish. Records are removed from their original sleeve and placed in a new white sleeve to ensure the original sleeve is preserved and to avoid any contamination of the playing surfaces after thorough deep groove cleaning. I aim to supply some of the cleanest records and try to eliminate surface noise. All are meticulously graded irrespective of value and are supplied in a polypropylene protective sleeve.

Securely packed with ample stiffeners making the package as inflexible as possible.
