Description
Hello record collectors and vinyl junkies...I'll be thinning out my collection and listing hundreds of LPs over the next few months, so please keep checking back.
Anyway, let's continue with this one by Los Bravos titled Black Is Black released by Press Records in 1966. (PRS 83003 Stereophonic)
Hard to find STEREO first pressing of the U.S version.
From the liner notes:
Five wonderful guys...Los Bravos. Their approach to the scene is as different as paella...as smooth as olive oil...as spicy as Spanish Onions. These boys smashed with "Black Is Black", the very first time a group from the Continent has crashed the charts with their very first disc... and here are eleven more good, good songs to cheer you on your way. Each track features the powerhouse vocal style of Mike Kogel, backed by Tony (he's the comedian) - lead guitar, Pablo (what a gas-looking guy) - drums, Manolo (the quiet one) - organ, and Miguel (the natador from Mallorca) - bass guitar...(you'll hear assorted other noises, too, coming from some brass, saxes and percussion). All in all, a fabulous first long-play, to match their fabulous first single. Ole, muchachos... Los Bravos.

LP has a few light marks that are visible when inspected under a bright spotlight. These marks cause occasional spots of minor surface noise - nothing that overwhelms or distracts from the music. Cover still wears its original shrink wrap but has a few age discoloration spots on the back under the shrink. Otherwise the cover has no seam splits, cut out marks, writing or other problems.

Payment is due within three days after end of the auction. I only accept payment through Paypal - if you do not have a Paypal account, please email me BEFORE bidding to inquire about alternative payment methods.
Domestic shipping is by Media Mail, which can take up to two weeks to arrive. Priority Mail is available for an additional cost if requested.
I do combine shipping for multiple purchases. The $4.00 covers between one and two albums. Additional albums (three and up) are an additional .50 cents each. Please wait for an invoice from me as the Paypal system does not calculate the combined shipping.
Overseas shipping is by Air Mail only. Shipping for one LP to Canada is $15.50 and everywhere else in the world is $23.00. Overseas shipping is by regular air mail and can take anywhere from one to four weeks to arrive. I do combine shipping on overseas purchases - I will send an invoice with the combined shipping cost if you purchase more than one LP.
Sorry I no longer ship to Italy or the Russian Federation due to the high number of "lost" packages.
All records are mailed in cardboard record mailers with cardboard inserts to prevent damage. LP will be removed from the cover to prevent seam splits while in transit.
