Description

If you're looking at this, there's a good chance you know the song "Losers Avenue," as recorded by "The Reporters" on US Hip records. The song was written by Elvis Presley associates Ruth Batchelor and Lance Legault (Batchelor was a regular lyricist for Elvis throughout the 60's, and Legault was his body double in movies, the voice on the Graceland tour, and a recording artist in his own right). This is the publishing demo for the song, and is a totally different recording than the released version. In a different key, with a different (I think better) singer. Bluesier and greasier than the released version. 10" 78 rpm acetate, in nice VG shape, with some storage marks typical of vintage acetates. Complete with cue sheet.
