Description

Up for auction is a very old Jazz lp titled Lou Takes off by Lou Donaldson.Also has Donald Byrd,Curtis fuller,Sonny Clark,George Joyner and Art Taylor playing with Lou on this Lp.Blue note label # 1591.Has 47 West 63rd NYC on both sides of label Please see picture.Also has RVG on trail off dead wax.I have taken a picture of everything on the trail off wax so please see pictures for a better view.The cover has a very small 1/2 inch top seam split near upper right hand corner.Has a 1 1/2 inch split on bottom seam near lower right hand corner.Corners have wear.The seams have a small amount of shelf rub wear spots and also has a 1/2 inch wear spot of spine paper missing near left top corner and a 1 inch wear spot of spine paper missing near lower left corner.Got rubber off somehow.Very small glossy cellophane flaking near where record pulls out Please see picture.Back cover has 2 tiny pink ink marks near upper left corner and has a very old music store sticker near upper right corner.Light browning stain near same corner Please see picture to see how light it is.Lower right corner also has a small brown stain.Side 1 looks very nice with a small amount of very light to light scratches.Has a extremely light scuff and also a 1 inch scuff which cannot be felt with fingernail.Side 2 has some extremely light to light scratches with 3 small scratches I can feel extremely lightly with fingernail.There is also a very small scratch that goes into the very first 12 to 15 grooves that can be felt with fingernail.Just by looking I am guessing this scratch will cause a ticking or pop noise only on very beginning of song on first dozen or so grooves.I would say it has groove wear on both sides also but still has quite abit of groove shine on both sides.I,ll be listing some other Blue Note Jazz Lps here shortly.I also combine multiple auctions to save on shipping.Also if the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell.
