Lou Donaldson and The 3 Sounds LD+3 Blue Note 4012 47 West 63rd Street RVG and EAR stamped mono deep groove 1st pressing original issue from 1960. LP is VG- due to small hairlike marks on either side of the LP (none can be felt) and one small scuff on Side 2. Record plays with light noise in spots BUT, this is an original pressing and I have not seen another copy of this LP on Ebay in at least 7-8 years, and I don't think this one was reissued and only on a Japanese CD can you find a CD of this music. Gene Harris, Andy Simpkins and Bill Dowdy the band. Cover is VG+ with a tiny piece of clear tape lower right front cover. Original mono deep groove ear and RVG stamped pressing. For those who would look to snag a Blue Note original pressing and try to resell and attempt a return if unsuccessful, this is being sold AS IS and there are no returns for any reason. Again, LP has light hair marks and one scuff on side 2 but plays reasonably well and is very tough to find is not really that bad, just light hair marks on either side and one scuff. See all the photos above and any offer has to be a good one. Really good music and the tunes Smooth Groove and Blue Moon and Confirmation really worth listening to.
