Hello jazz fans !

Blue Note find for sale here: a copy of Lou Donaldson with the Three Sounds 1959 collaboration album "LD + 3" issued on Blue Note Records. Catalogue number BLP 4012. This is a mono pressing and not a Liberty Records reissue. RVG and the "Ear" mark appear in the dead wax. Contains the 47 West 63rd labels on both sides. Vinyl is VG-/VG with a bit of surface wear, but it is not too bad. LP is actually in pretty good shape. This was another tough LP to grade because the actual playback area is pretty clean, but the edges see the most wear on both sides. Label is in good shape with light spindle marks. There is a name written in ink on both sides of the label. Plays pretty well and sounds great. Mastered under the care of the legendary Rudy Van Gelder. Played back with an Ortofon MC 10 Super cartridge. Cover is G-/G with some pretty significant front cover wear. It is not shot though. The plastic lamination is a bit "chipped" away on the right hand edge where the LP is inserted. Back cover slick is actually pretty clean compared to the front cover. There is a name written in ink in the center liner note column. There are no immediate splits. The spine is in pretty good shape as well. It is completely readable. Corner dents are fairly minimal. Comes with an original inner sleeve. All other inquiries are welcome via e-mail. Item shipped in a cardboard cover with cardboard pads for extra protection. Also comes in a brand new outer plastic sleeve and a Discwasher inner sleeve. Comes from a non-smoking and pet-free environment. Shipped media mail through the care of the United States Postal Service. Insurance available upon request. PayPal preferred. International orders at cost.
