DESCRIPTION: Lou Reed- Metal Machine Music. 1ST USA pressing with A1/B1/C1/D1 matrix.In stickered textured gatefold sleeve with original white inners. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER:RCA CPL2- 1101 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1975 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: USA CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX/G. Vinyls are both clean with a nice dark sheen. Appears quite lightly played. The lad I bought this off only managed a few minutes of it and so did I. What i heard seemed to play as intended without background sound. Cover has near heavy edgewear, cornerwear and light creasing. There are splits to 3 of 4 edges where upper/lower edge joins upper edge. Clean labels. No writing , stickers or sticker tears. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
