Description
Only 300 made of this sweet little double 7" e.p. I have here. Very nice sound quality as well. One 45 is blue vinyl & the other is clear vinyl. The blue is visually EX. to M-. I played the clear vinyl 45 because on the Femme Fatale side there was a small mark. I heard 3 or 4 light ticks that were not disturbing. The rest played EX. to M-. The gatefold paper sleeve is M-.

Folded picture sleeve. Coloured vinyl, blue or clear wax. 300 copies only. Some clear wax editions have blue and yellow labels, some other have red and yellow labels. Also exists on regular black vinyl with red and yellow labels or pinkish-red and yellow labels - same matrix numbers.

For Lou Reed 1972 was comeback time -and on the understanding that his early material would be accepted for what it was. Also, there was the personal magic of a first visit to Europe. The French showed their appreciation of the hero by filming a TV special at the Bataclan Club in Paris on January 29th. By some 'strange' coincidence, John Cale and Nico just happened to be in Paris at the same time and the rock press were able to make much of the Velvets 'reforming' for one night. In fact, The Bataclan performance was very little like the old Velvets apart from the opening sequence of songs: Reed and Cale were entirely acoustic and the bulk of the set consisted of actual and proposed solo album material. A nice slice of music history here.
