Lou Reed Set the twilight reeling LP
This is Lou Reed's really quite underrated album from 1996, coming after Songs for Drella from 1990 and 1992's Magic and Loss. I think it's a wonderfully warmly themed LP, discussing such things as egg cream and has a somewhat nostalgic feel, albeit with some wonderfully loud and distorted guitars.
Vinyl is VG+ and plays with a bit of intermittent noise in places. Side 2 reveals a number of visible pressing "pocks". These occasionally appear on LP's and in this case, the worst effect they have is a background low level thump. This is a very playable copy but you will hear noise in some places. I have had 2 other copies of this title and neither was pin drop quiet either. Due to it's length, the album is cut at a low volume which may be part of the reason.
The LP has been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine and play graded on a Linn LP12 turntable with an Ortofon MC30 cartridge.
The cover is VG+ and has some creasing, rubbing, a hint of ringwear and a spine split about an inch long. The dark blue of the cover is hard to keep pristine as both of the other copies I had were not perfect either. The lyric inner also has a seam split on both the bottom and side and also some creasing.
This LP is now extremely hard to find, especially in this condition.

Please check for shipping cost as I am based in New Zealand. The item will be securely packed in an LP mailer with cardboard stiffeners for protection, and I can pack the LP outside of the cover to avoid seam splits.
I do not charge a handling cost - only the cost of getting the LP from New Zealand to you via Airmail (again please note that shipping cost will probably exceed the $4.00 USD shown in the listing , as I am based in New Zealand.)
