Genuine and very 1st press on UK RCA. Matrix 1E/1E - very 1st cut. Note the labels mention 'Stereo' at 12 o'clock. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover. We also have an original generic company inner from the time too.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In excellent condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light marks per side nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A really difficult to find playing properly clean...why? Well, the big hits [that are well known] are also the fussiest and most lowkey. Which tends to mean the tracks Perfect Day and Wild Side rarely play with a proper quiet background. But this copy is acing it across the board. Hearing those two tracks in particular playing clean is a total joy. Reed was at the height of his powers, here, and you really need to insist on the best copy you can get hold of. The only slight deviation was a couple of minor ticks in 'Make Up', and one solitary minor tick in 'WildSide'. Even 'GoodNight' plays really clean! A cracking copy. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Clean front with just a couple of minor creases. It is looking much better than you typically find - with minimal surface wear. The rear is equally good - well tidy. Minimal edge wear and firm openings. The spine is fully intact with slightest wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present. NO splits.
