I began buying Velvet Underground albums very early in my teens, when I really had no idea exactly what their lyrics were outlining, but knowing there was something extremely exciting and important about them - they were so different, so much darker than other groups of the day - and wasn't that Andy Warhol guy somehow associated with them........anyway,this 1971 Atlantic single (2091-088) is a classic pairing of two band-written tracks, 'Who Loves The Sun' (no question mark?) on the A side, with a flip-over of the iconic 'Sweet Jane'. Both sides are in at least vg+ condition, if not better, with a visible, but non audible scuff on the SJ side. It comes in its original, vg Atlantic, logoed red and white sleeve to make it even more collectable. Sorry about the starting price but I really will not let this go for anything less.....
