Original 1965 mono pressing of Good News by Louie Ramirez and Orchestra on Fania Records (LP 329), featuring the gold labels. One of the earliest and hardest-to-find LPs in the Fania catalog—blending Latin soul, mambo, early salsa dura, and boogaloo. Manny Roman handles lead vocals throughout, with compositions by Johnny Pacheco, Louie Ramirez, and Pedro Flores.
This is a strong player copy in VG+ condition. The vinyl shows some cosmetic scuffs (see images), but fidelity remains crisp and full. The jacket has typical vintage wear—splits and bends—but remains intact.
Essential addition for serious collectors of early Fania, boogaloo-era Latin, and New York Afro-Caribbean vinyl. Increasingly hard to find in any condition.
