Description

This is an original deep-groove copy of Louis Armstrong & His Hot Five “Heebie Jeebies”/Muskrat Ramble” on the blue and gold labels of OKeh 8300. The recordings were made on February 26, 1926 with his first group and were just the third session under Louis’ leadership. This copy is in amazing condition, probably graded in the E/E+ range: clean and virtually unmarked, showing no groove wear; perhaps played once or twice.
