Description
A 12" vinyl LP record album from the Sicilian-American big-band, swing, and jump-blues singer Louis Prima with Keely Smith titled Breaking It Up!, released in 1958 on the Columbia Records label (CL 1206).
This item is collectible because it belonged to the family of Frank Balistrieri (1918-1993) of the Balistrieri family noted in the history of organized crime in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a family whose story is partly told in the 1995 Martin Scorsese film Casino. Until recently, this record was kept in the office of Frank Balistrieri's son John J. Balistrieri (1948-2024) in the historic Shorecrest Hotel high-rise on Milwaukee's East Side, overlooking Lake Michigan.

I have play-tested this record, and it plays through without any skips or significant noise. Scuffing and other moderate wear to cardboard outer sleeve. Paper inner sleeve is the original one and is very intact. See images, which are of the actual item, not stock photos.
