Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Louis Smith “Smithville” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 1594.  The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster; the first track on Side 2 has thirteen intermittent tics.  The laminated West 63rd cover is also in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; the bottom seam has ¾” wear at the center and ½” wear at the opening. Personnel include Charlie Rouse, Sonny Clark, Paul Chambers, and Art Taylor.  $1500.00.
