Description
Pushing 60 and wanting to "de-clutter", a fan of Lousie Cordet from the early 60s offers his treasured collection of memorabilia. (All photos are better quality than appear in these versions) Decca publicity photo's, A) Plaits hair style, very good condition, autographed "Louise Cordet" B) As above, but no autograph and folded below the picture. C) Plaits, different photo, very good condition, autographed "Louise Cordett" D) Bob hair style, very good condition apart from being folded below picture, autographed "To Rob Best Wishes Loise Cordett" E) As above, some surface marks, autographed "To Rob Best Wishes Louise Cordett".
Fan Club photos, set 1. A set of 5 original pictures of Louise with the "plaits" hair style. They show Louise in a variety of dancing poses. They are amateur photos and are a little underexposed with some "speckles", two have slight surface creases.
Fan Club photos, Set 2. A set of 6 original pictures of Louise with a bob hairstyle. These are amateur photos, but with good definition. They show Louise in a number of relaxed poses, e.g., on the phone, holding a poodle. One is autographed "Louise Cordett" on the front, another has an autograph on the back.
Fan Club photos, Set 3. A set of 4 original pictures of Louise with bobbed hair style. These also have good definition and show Louise in a mix of poses, e.g., reading Paris match in glasses, signing an autograph.
A hand-written letter from Louise to fan "Rob". Contents mainly about her disclaiming (very nicely) his endorsement of her version of "From Me To You" as being better than the Beatles' own! Both sides of paper written on. With original hand addressed envelope and on Fan Club letter paper.
An autographed paper slip, "To Rob Sincereley Lousie Cordett".
A press cutting which includes photo, from the Daily Express Feb 1964. The cutting is slightly yellowed with age and it has a small tear.
BONUS ITEM : rescently scanned page from the 1963 BeatlesTour programme, it has a photo of Lousie and a brief biography.
