Description

The Louisiana Rhythm Kings play two hot arrangements, "Dusky Stevedore" and "When You're Smiling," on Vocalion 15716.  There are plenty of good solos and a strong rhythm section. 
According to Lord: "Unknown tp, tb, 2 cl/as, cl/ts, p, bj, tu, d, Harry Maxfield (vcl).  This may be a contingent from the Coon-Sanders Orchestra of this period."  Recorded in Chicago on July 21 and August 13,1928.
This record is in VV+ condition visually.  "Stevedore" plays mostly V+.  "Smiling" plays VV+.  The pressing is slightly noisy.    
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing.  I know how to pack records.
