Description

An original 1967 Stereo 1st press of FC on the UK Elektra label. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Stereo cover with pinched spine. Also included is the original generic white inner from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+) In very nice condition despite having seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection we could make out a few light marks per side, with one or two tiny ones which are semi-feelable and do sound [see details below]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. By and large a decent relatively clean player with some great audio. Expect a bit of static sporadically in a couple of tracks per side, but nothing invasive [e.g. Between Clark & Hilldale]. The only deviations are 4-5 clicks in the first section of Track 2 & 3 on side 2 [caused by the marks mentioned above] . A great rendition of this 'summer of love' classic.
Cover (Ex-) Difficult to find in top-level condition due to that white cover. But this example acquits itself admirably and seems to have avoided most of the ageing process. There's two minor creases on the front and two minor ones on the back. Edge wear is relatively minor and the openings still sharpish. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
